Gas and kitchen suppression
FM-200 and NOVEC 1230 fire suppression systems in Baku
We install gas-based suppression where water would do damage: server and telecom rooms, archives, electrical distribution rooms, control centres. Clean agent systems (FM-200, NOVEC 1230, IG-541) leave no residue and do not harm electronics. For restaurant kitchens we install wet-chemical hood systems (R-102 type). The FM-200 systems at SOCAR Tower and Baku Olympic Stadium were installed by us and remain under our service.

Which system we install where
The agent is chosen by the room’s purpose, volume and whether people are present. All three clean agents work at concentrations safe for people and leave no residue after discharge.
FM-200 (HFC-227ea)
The most widely used clean agent: few cylinders, fast suppression (discharge within 10 seconds). Server rooms, UPS and electrical rooms, archives.
NOVEC 1230 (FK-5-1-12)
Zero ozone depletion and very low global warming potential. Chosen for data centres and permanently occupied rooms; needs slightly more cylinders than FM-200.
IG-541 (inert gas)
A mix of nitrogen, argon and CO2 that lowers oxygen below the combustion level. For large volumes and long pipe runs; cylinders can sit away from the room.
Kitchen hood system
For restaurant, hotel and canteen kitchens: detects a grease fire under the hood, suppresses it with wet chemical and shuts off the gas. Linked to the fire alarm.
Which sites it suits
Gas suppression is needed where water would destroy equipment or documents: server rooms, telecom nodes, electrical and UPS rooms, archives and museum stores, control rooms. Kitchen systems are for restaurants, hotels and large canteens. At SOCAR Tower we installed the kitchen hood and FM-200 systems, at Baku Olympic Stadium the water mist and FM-200 systems, and we service both.

What is included
Calculation and design for the room volume, approval with the fire authority, cylinders and nozzles, automatic detection (smoke and heat detectors, two-zone confirmation), discharge delay with audible and visual warning, manual release and abort buttons, room integrity test, commissioning and annual maintenance (pressure, weight, detectors).
How the work goes
We visit the site, record the room dimensions, openings and ventilation, then calculate the agent and number of cylinders and quote with a design. After installation the system is tested and handed over with documentation. Under an annual contract we check cylinder pressure and weight, detectors and the panel, and organise refilling after a discharge.
